Fact Check: Robert Krasker, BSC in extracts from his Western Australian Registration of Birth certificate of 28 January 1914, of his birth on 21 August 1913 in Alexandria, Egypt

Various books and Web sites make claim of various dates and places for Australian cinematographer Robert Krasker’s date and place of birth but there is one document that seems to be constantly overlooked, his Registration of Birth certificate issued by the Government of Western Australia on 28 January 1914 to register his birth on 21 August 1913 in Alexandria in Egypt.

Some of those erroneous places include Sydney, Wimbledon and Perth, and erroneous dates include 12 August 1913 and 13 August 1913.

Surely a copy of this certificate is enough to confirm the facts given such copies are easily obtainable from the Government of Western Australia?
